As it dries it acts as an astringent to tighten skin and swollen tissues. It contains all food grade ingredients and will not harm your animal if ingested. For use on eczema (hot spots), dry itchy skin, burns, poultice for horses, and soothes itching associated with wounds. Apply Yuck! No Chew spray over Aloe-Comfrey Gel to stop licking.
