Texture Line products add that extra crispness to the coats naturally. No more tacky messes!
Texture Minerals Texturizing & Thickening Spray is Formulated to emphasize the natural propensity of the coat. This is a versatile design tool that provides texture, natural shine and density to the coat.
Harsh Coated Breeds:
Emphasize the Hard, Wiry Outer Coat by adding Density & Crispness to a Show Coat.
Double Coated Breeds:
Add density and coarseness to emphasize the coarser topcoat and bring volume to the softer undercoat.
Pure Paws Texturizing & Thickening Spray does everything it claims to do. I use it not only on hard coated Terriers to give them more texture (especially on a clipped pattern instead of a hand stripped pattern) and double coated breeds (it makes a full coated Sheltie look tremendous!), but I also use it as a prep spray for Poodles and for other small breeds (Shih Tzus, some Maltese and Yorkies with limp flat hair, but get shorter pet trims: a.k.a. every groomers nightmare of the drop-coated breed that looks like its been hacked up by a weedeater!).... basically any dog that lacks texture and volume, Pure Paws Texturizing Spray will oomph it up with a few generous sprays.
Makes for a hard, crisp Poodle coat when used while fluffing out... ideal for scissoring more stylized Poodle cuts-- as well as volumizing and lifting those flat, wavy Poodle coats.
It does leave a slightly tacky residue, so I usually use it while fluff drying or use a slicker/pin brush to work it through full-coated Shelties, Collies, Aussies, Pomeranians, and similar breeds. It only requires a few sprays in a sweeping motion; the fine mist gives you plenty of the styling spray to work with and it will disperse easily throughout the coat.
I have also been a long time user of Chris Christensen Thick N Thicker as well as Chris Christensen Fluff For Sure, and dare I say that the Pure Paws Texturizing Spray ranks right up there with my Chris Christensen favorites. In some cases and on certain dogs/coats, the Pure Paws does perform better.
Thumbs up! It will be a staple in my drawer of styling sprays. Lindsey Patton-Hagerman on Mar 17th 2017
